Small Groups

Saint Timothy’s parish is launching a Small Group Ministry.  There is still time to sign up; we have several new group options for you to join.

We encourage you to learn more about our different Small Groups and join one that fits you!

• Men’s Group-With a Father’s Heart – Learn how Saint Joseph sets an example for us as men, brothers, fathers, workers and protectors. A study designed by men for men. The plans include BBQ, brewery tours and bonfires! Meetings last only 90 minutes. Our fathers and grandfathers at Saint Timothy parish had a great devotion to Saint Joseph, for which Saint Timothy parish is famous. Now is an excellent time to rekindle an awareness of how the foster father of Jesus can help you to become the man God is calling you to be.
  • • This group will be led by John Northenscold and will be meeting on Saturday mornings from 7:00am-8:30am and will meet from February 10th-March 23rd.
• Lord, Teach us How to Pray – 6 session study on developing a more meaningful prayer life developed by Jeff Cavins and the Catechetical Institute. Groups are being offered Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings during Lent from 7:00-8:30pm.
  • • Mondays are led by Carol Tongen and meet from February 12th – March 18th.
    • Wednesdays are led by Jen Rasset and meet from February 21st-March 27th.
    • Thursdays are led by Kathy Loch and meet from February 15th-March 21st.
• Parish Bible Study, No Greater Love, Tuesday Evenings – You are invited to join our parish Bible Study.  This group does 2 Bible Study topics per year.  They are currently studying No Greater Love: A Biblical Walk Through Christ’s Passion.
  • • This group meets in the church basement weekly on Tuesdays from 7:00-9:00pm, beginning January 9th.  Led by Angie Pribyl.
• Rediscover Book Club – This group reads good Catholic Books.  They meet 6 sessions to read a book in the Fall and 6 sessions to read a book in the Spring.  The current book is What Jesus Saw from the Cross, by Antonin Sertillanges.
  • • This group meets at St. Timothy’s School every 2 weeks on Mondays from 7:00-8:30pm.  Spring group will meet January 22nd-March 18th.  Led by Eric Heimkes.
• St. Monica’s Mom’s Group – Mothers are invited to St. Monica’s Mothers Group.  This is an informal gathering, children are welcome to attend with you, although babysitting is not provided.  They begin with social time from 8:00-9:00am, and then watch a video at 9:00am, followed by discussion.  Drop-ins are welcome, no RSVP is needed.
  • • This group meets on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month during the school year in the church basement from 8:00-10:00am.  Led by Alyssa Lang.
• Women of Faith – This is a women’s group devoted to Mary and the Rosary and the fulfillment of our vocation as women.
  • • The group will meet in the church basement on the first Saturday of every month from 9:00-11:00am.  Beginning on April 6, 2024.  Led by Ann Medley.
