YOUTH MINISTRY PROGRAM

Our mission: One goal is to bring 6th – 12th graders to the understanding that faith as a personal encounter with the Living and True God who loves each individual personally, powerfully, and intimately.  However, this is a mission we share with all other members of the Church.  Uniquely, as a Youth Group it is our goal to create a place of community for the youth of St. Timothy’s.  This community allows for a place where young people can grow to be life-long disciples of Jesus Christ and develop a faith that will last far beyond their time here in the Youth Group.

“The Church needs you, your enthusiasm, your creativity and the joy
that is so characteristic of you.” Pope Francis – WYD 2013

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the St. Timothy’s Youth Group is perhaps best summed up by the following passage from the Epistle to the Hebrews:

“But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today”, so that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end” (Hebrews 3:13-14).

Of course, one goal is to bring 6th – 12th graders to the understanding that faith as a personal encounter with the Living and True God who loves each individual personally, powerfully, and intimately. However, this is a mission we share with all other members of the Church. Uniquely, as a Youth Group it is our goal to create a place of community for the youth of St. Timothy’s.

OPEN YOUTH ROOM- Wednesday evenings 3pm-7pm (during the school year)
All students in grades 6 and up are welcome to join us in the church basement for this event. Extreme Faith Camp

We had a great time this June at Extreme Faith Camp!  We hope you will plan on joining us again next summer!

What is Extreme Faith Camp? Extreme Faith Camp is a high adventure camp packed with incredible activities! Swimming, tubing, fishing, high-ropes course, climbing wall, Wacky Olympics, 9-square, & more! Extreme Faith Camp is integrated closely with our parishes from the Archdiocese and is led by parish youth ministers, parent chaperones, young adult and high-school leaders, guaranteeing that summer camp is not just a one-time faith experience, but one that builds lifelong foundations of faith that are fostered within our communities long after camp is over.  Our faith programming is founded in the sacramental life of the Catholic Church, and our mission and work is anything but boring. Camp includes daily Mass, “Lectio Divina”, inspiring talks, small group discussion, Adoration, Confession, & more!

Registration for EFC 2023 is now open!  See our Extreme Faith Camp page for more information!
