Catechist:
Returning this year as a Catechist is Mary Sullivan. She grew up in Maple Lake and received the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Holy Communion, and Confirmation as a member of the Church of St. Timothy. Throughout her education, she attended Catholic Schools being a graduate of St.Timothy’s Elementary School, Holy Trinity High School, and the College of St. Benedict with a degree in Nursing. She relocated back to Maple Lake with her husband in 1999 and raised their 7 children in this community. She is excited to teach the core Beliefs of a Catholic and instill a Love of the Truths to her Students on their Faith journey.
Curriculum:
This year the curriculum is about what we believe as Catholics – especially the main truths that are expressed in the Apostle’s’ Creed. The five units that will be studied are: God Calls Us to Faith, God is Great and Good, God’s Plan is a Plan of Love, Jesus Brings us to the Kingdom of God, Jesus is with Us on Our Way.
