As I mentioned here, we will be taking a special pilgrimage for the “Year of Mercy” on Wednesday, July 13th. You won’t want to miss this opportunity for prayer, reflection, mercy, and fun with your fellow parishioners. You can see the full details in the original post, but we will be going to the seminary and then walking, as our abilities allow, as true pilgrims from the seminary along historic Summit Avenue in Saint Paul to the Cathedral down the road. The highlight of the pilgrimage will be the opportunity to walk through the “Holy Doors”, which, with the usual conditions, gives each pilgrim a plenary indulgence, relieving any consequences owed to our sins. There will be confession and Mass during the day as well. You can see the full details in the pictured registration form above.
This should be a great pilgrimage, and it will only cost about $40/pilgrim. This is a great opportunity to continue to renew your spiritual life and receive God’s infinite and abundant mercy. I hope to see you on July 13th. Registration is now open. You can print the form from our website soon or you can pick up a form at the exits of the church.
