I hope you had a great week and have a great weekend ahead. I wanted to let you know that Saint Timothy’s has a new parish secretary. Laura Beissel has accepted the position, and we are excited to have her as part of our staff. As you may recall and as outlined in this post, we have divided the former secretary role into two different positions. Karrie Weber will work part-time as a business assistant and handle most of the financial, accounting, and bookkeeping work for the church and school. Laura will handle the secretarial work, be the point of contact for general information in the parish, and many of the projects and work that arises in the parish throughout the year. I’m grateful to have such a talented team working in the parish office. As a reminder, the parish office will now be open from 8:00-3:00 Monday – Thursday. The office will be closed on Fridays throughout the year.
Laura has served as an office assistant, an account secretary, marketing secretary, and promotions coordinator in the past. Some of you may know her as well as an active parishioner, a teacher of the sixth grade in faith formation, an usher, a Saint Timothy’s school parent, and much more. Again, we’re blessed to have two qualified people willing to work for our parish in these part-time positions. Please join me in welcoming Laura and thanking Karrie for accepting these positions.
Have a great weekend ahead, and we’ll see you at Mass for Pentecost.
