Oh Come, Let us Adore Him

Hello all,

I hope your week is going well.  It was great to have Archbishop Emeritus Flynn visit our parish last weekend.  As you know, he spoke about the Eucharist and the importance of Eucharistic Adoration.  What a blessing the Adoration Chapel has been for our parish since he himself blessed it over fifteen years ago.  How powerful it is for us as a parish to have Jesus present in the Eucharist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ready to give new life, grace, love, and strength to anyone who stops by our chapel.  To keep the presence of Jesus in our parish in this way, we need your continued help.  Thank you to so many of you who already spend time in the chapel. If you haven’t yet committed to an hour, please consider doing so, whether the hour is open or not.  It is the most important thing you can do for yourself, your family, and our parish.

Below are the hours that are in need of an adorer.  Again, you can see that many of them are in the night-time.  How powerful it is to pray when the rest of the world sleeps, to be with Jesus in the peace and quiet of the night.  It is a time of special grace.  Thank you again to all who already adore.
