Highlights of our Forty Hours Devotion

DSC_0253

Hello Everyone,

By now, I hope you know we are planning to pray together as a parish in a special way this weekend, and we look forward to welcoming Msgr. Callaghan and Archbishop Hebda this weekend. We will have the Eucharist on the altar of the main church for quiet prayer and other special opportunities of prayer throughout the weekend. There are suggested intentions for each hour. Come pray for people in a special way during those times. See the official schedule for the list of the suggested intentions for each hour.  As you may know, I have been highlighting some of those prayer opportunities throughout the past few weeks. I hope this post will be helpful in reviewing the schedule for the weekend and linking to posts with an explanation of each opportunity, as a they are available.  Please note that not every led opportunity of prayer will take the entire hour, such as the hours that include the “Divine Office”.  The remainder of those hours will be silent adoration.
