I hope that all is well with you. First, while I try to keep this blog and Twitter feed updated with the most important news, you will find even more regular updates, including daily video reflections, live-streamed Mass and Stations, and catechesis on our Facebook page. I don’t believe you need a Facebook account to follow the public page. In everything mentioned below, please respect the CDC guidelines of social distancing, washing your hands with soap, avoiding more than ten people in a building at one time, and more.
With that, here is the current schedule and status of church operations (Please note the change in confession times):
Mass: The 10:00 A.M. Sunday Mass will be live-streamed every Sunday on Facebook here at Saint Timothy’s. You can pray along from home through Facebook, which is accessible through the link above or with the icon on our webpage. I am praying all of the other Masses privately and for the original intention of that day.
Stations: The Stations of the Cross will be live-streamed every Friday at 2:00 P.M. on Facebook. Thanks to Sheri Nichols for all of the live-streamed events during this time.
Confessions: Beginning this Saturday, the only confession time available will be 2:30-4:15 in the main church on Saturday afternoon. We will re-evaluate the amount and timing of confessions going forward. As announced on Facebook, confessions will now happen in front of Mary’s altar. They will be done standing behind a make-shift “screen”. We will play music during confession times to help protect privacy. Please line up by the third station where there is a sign. Please maintain six feet of social distance in line. If there are more than ten people in the church at a time, please wait outside until there are less people, so we can continue to offer confessions during this time. This change was made to allow for the least amount of touching of door handles, ledges, and any other items as possible.
Adoration: Perpetual Adoration continues in the adoration chapel. Once again, please maintain social distancing and limit yourself to only four people in the chapel at one time. We are blessed to be able to offer this pastoral care during these interesting times and a great refuge of grace and strength to be with the Lord face-to-face.
Main Church: While it may vary occasionally, the main church will generally be open most of the morning, day, and evening until 10:00 P.M. for prayer.
We will continue to keep you updated if anything changes.
God bless and have a wonderful night.
