I hope to see all of you at the festival on Sunday. It should be a great day. Thank you to everyone who has been working so hard behind the scenes to prepare for the day, and thank you to everyone who will be working hard tomorrow. We will see you all on Sunday.
I write today with a brief update on the roofing project for the church. You may have noticed that the roofing company has begun to get things in place for their work. They should begin this Monday. It sounds like they will begin work on the rectory first. This was not part of the capital campaign project or expenses, but the rectory roof was also in need of replacing so we will have them replace that roof at this time. After the rectory, they will begin working on the church. The materials and color for the roofs will be the same. While anything can change, they are targeting having everything completed by the end of October. Disruption to Masses should be very minimal. The parking lot will have a few less spaces for parking in the month ahead, but it should not be a problem.
Thank you again for all of your generosity and thank you to all those who worked on the campaign. It is exciting to see the fruits of your generosity and work materialize. Thank you again.
