I wanted to make a brief post to highlight our Advent Adoration Night this coming Tuesday, December 15th from 7:00-9:00 P.M. in the main church. You can stop by for just a few minutes or stay for the whole time. The lights will be dimmed, we’ll have periods of live, meditative music, time for silent prayer, Advent reflections, Advent prayers, and more. I will hear confessions during this time too. Benediction will be at 8:50 P.M. My hope is that many people from our parish will take advantage of this opportunity to come together and pray in the silence of the night, to speak to the Lord in that quiet, and simply be in the presence of the one who loves us. While the rest of the world and we ourselves are busy during this time of the year, this is an opportunity to take at least a few minutes to rest in the strong presence of the Lord, adore him, and thank him. I hope to see you there.
