A Review on the News on the Projects Around the Parish and the Weekend Ahead

Hello all,

I hope your week is going well.  This post will mainly review where we are with various projects in the parish and school.  This should all be “old news” except for the news on the Ireland trip to anyone who reads these updates regularly.

  • We continue to wait for the necessary permit and permissions to proceed with the school addition project.  We look forward to breaking ground as soon as that is possible.
  • All of the materials for the directory have been submitted to LifeTouch.  We should receive a proof within two weeks.  Once that is approved, it will take about a month for the directories to be printed.  We hope to have the directories in your hands before Christmas.
  • The capital campaign continues to go well, and we hope to maintain the momentum that we have.  Thanks for your support.  You will hear from the lay leadership at Masses this weekend.  Some of you have wondered how to pledge.  You should be receiving a phone call directly from me or a volunteer in the days ahead, if you haven’t already.  Please be open to their call.  Thank you.
  • The trip to Ireland has now reached capacity at 48 people.  If you didn’t submit your registration form yet, you can request to be placed on a waiting list in the event that someone cancels.

There is a brief review on the major projects around the parish.  We will have the second collection for “World Mission Sunday” this weekend, and we will have volunteers for the capital campaign at the exits of the church in addition to the lay leadership talks.

See you at Mass this weekend.  God bless your weekend ahead.

Father Meyer
